Visiting A New Church Can Be Overwhelming

What To Expect

All of our services are exciting, casual and relaxed. Come as you are and feel welcomed as our guest. When you enter you will be greeted by friendly people and volunteers who can answer your questions and point you in the right direction. We start the service with worship music, which may be louder and more energetic than you expect for "church music". Then get ready to lean in as Pastor Doug Diestler brings a relevant message. Each service will last a little over one hour.

Where do my kids go?

Nursery (6 months - 2 years)
Primary is the best place for your child to build a biblical foundation for their life through Bible lessons, fun interactive games and worship songs. Here, they will be given the opportunity to start a life-changing relationship with Jesus‍!

Preschool (3 years - 5years)
Our preschool class is the ground floor for building faith. We get to be first hand witnesses of little hearts coming to know The Father, and showing His love to one another. In preschool, we will sing, dance, snack, craft, and learn all about God and His Word!

Primary (Kindergarten - 2nd grade)
Primary is the best place for your child to build a biblical foundation for their life through Bible lessons, fun interactive games and worship songs. Here, they will be given the opportunity to start a life-changing relationship with Jesus‍!
Jr. RIOT (3rd - 5th grade)
This is a place geared for pre-teens to help them build their relationship with God. This is a time to give them the tools they need to develop their faith and know the love that Jesus has for them.
Jr. RIOT meets at the 11:30am service in the Growth Track room.

General Questions

Is there a dress code?

We are pretty casual around here. You will see lots of jeans, shorts and some people get dressed up.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and join us!

Do I have to tell people I'm new?

You don't have to, but we'd love if you did. You can visit the Cafe to meet one of our hosts and pick up a free gift. We want to say hi and get to know you!

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you're visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering boxes in the hallway. If you consider Mission City Church your home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash just outside the sanctuary. You can set up an online giving account here.
